Meeting Candice and Colin
From the very beginning, we felt a connection with Candice and Colin. Our first interaction took place over a phone call with Candice, where we discovered her deep faith and values aligning perfectly with ours. A FaceTime consultation allowed us to get to know them better, and it was during this conversation that Colin expressed his desire for us to cover their welcome party the night before their wedding day. This pre-wedding event was adorned with captivating Texas-themed decorations, including a prominent Texas flag serving as the backdrop, a mechanical bull, and a lively mariachi band setting the celebratory tone. Little did we know how significant this coverage would become, as it ultimately shaped the opening scene of their remarkable wedding film. Additionally, we met up with Candice and Colin at the hotel on the morning of their wedding, capturing their personal accounts of how they first met, a story we had previously discussed during our initial FaceTime call.
Ceremony at the Shrine of St. Josephs
The exquisite Shrine of St. Josephs cathedral in St. Louis served as the perfect setting for Candice and Colin's ceremony. With their faith being a cornerstone of their relationship, it was essential for us to emphasize the church's beauty and significance, treating it as another character within their film. The ceremony sequence took center stage, capturing the depth of their devotion and the profound impact their shared faith had on their love story.
