Some weddings just have that something special—and Kelsey and Houston’s celebration at GlassHaus in Branson, Missouri, was truly one of our favorites to film in 2024.
From our very first call with Kelsey, we knew this would be a deeply personal and heartfelt wedding. With a small guest list and loved ones traveling from out of state, the weekend was centered around connection, presence, and celebration in a peaceful lakeside setting.
We suggested filming their welcome party the night before the big day—not only to capture the joyful reunions and cozy atmosphere (complete with a s’mores bar!), but also to carve out intentional time for Kelsey and Houston to sit down with us and share their story. In a quiet moment away from the crowd, they opened up about how they met, what drew them to each other, and what they were dreaming of for their marriage. Those candid reflections became the emotional heartbeat of their film.
As night fell, the full moon cast a glow over the lake—creating a dreamy, cinematic backdrop that couldn’t have been planned. And on the wedding day itself, the autumn colors in the Ozarks were on full display. We captured their heartfelt vows, the laughter and tears among their close-knit guests, and sweeping aerial views of the scenery that made this location so magical.
Kelsey and Houston’s wedding reminded us of what we love most about filmmaking: telling stories that are honest, meaningful, and completely unique to each couple.
